毎春のSophoraでの個展がすっかりお馴染みとなった杉江智さん。冬の間に熟考されていた新作の数々が一斉に咲き誇ります。拘りのオリジナル無鉛クリスタルガラスの魅力を最大限に引き出された透明の器から、数年振りとなるレースガラスの器・抹茶碗などもお披露目です。春の陽射しのように穏やかな美しさが溢れる今展へ是非足をお運びください。

Spring brings us the annual exhibition of Satoshi Sugie, which has become a regular event at Sophora. Studiously made throughout the winter, new creations blossom in unison, like the splendid flowers of the season. Sugie’s obsessively crafted original lead-free crystal glass has a brilliant translucence, which is highlighted in his clear glass pieces. Furthermore, we will see a comeback of lace glass works, in the form of new tableware and tea bowls. We hope you will join us to appreciate this exhibition, overflowing in beauty like the gentle spring sun.
